Piotr Jakub Sadlo,  Agency Development Manager, holding a Masters degree in International Business from Warsaw School of Economics.

“I could write an essay here about what I have learnt attending Preparing Global Leaders Events, as this is my third! I could spend hours talking about all interesting people I had a chance to meet and exchange experiences with. On the other hand, whatever I will write in here will not be able to truly express what were these experiences about… so I will tell you only ONE THING: Go for it and take part in the adventure which is about to happen!”

Hrvoje Tomičić, Product Coordination Manager at INA, holding a Masters degree from Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Zagreb

“Excellent academics and guests lecturers with out of the box way of thinking. On top of that I had a chance to meet amazing personalities from all over the world. Definitely would recommend PGLF to anyone who wants to spread their horizons and move out of own comfort zone. The acronym could also stand for: Productive, Genuine, Legendary, Fantastic Experience!”

PGLF Croatia, 2017 was a phenomenal experience. When the conference concluded, I was surprised about how much I had learned about myself and my preferred leadership styles. Undoubtedly, the combination of culturally diversified and brilliant classmates, plus world-class speakers and faculty, provided the ideal platform to explore how us, as young leaders can proactively contribute to the resolution of complex geopolitical and business issues of today. The staff of the conference did a magnificent job at delivering outings and events that exposed us to a genuine and unforgettable Croatian experience. In my perspective, the primary value of this week-long conference relied on the long-lasting relationships I built with each of my classmates, faculty, and staff during formal, casual and social environments.

Orsitto Davide comes from Frascati, Italy. In 2016, he finished his Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs with a minor in Economics and Finance, from John Cabot University, Rome. Currently he is enrolled in Master in International Security Studies at Scuola superiore Sant’Anna & University of Trento, Pisa. With Pglf split I’ve been thoroughly amazed at how the team managed to organize everything for us in every detail, from welcome bags to daily tight schedule. I was also impressed with the intensity and multi disciplinarity of the program, which combined practical lectures on communications and extensive group workshops with high profile personalities. Also, thanks to the program, I made so many friends from all over the world, and made ties with such different cultures. Many Pglf people have come to Italy to taste and feel some of my traditions and I am so proud of this.

Same year, she attended the Hive Global Leadership Program in San Francisco. Currently she is doing her Master in Energy and Power Engineering. Also, she is working as a student consultant at ID-Consult Munich, expert company for complex multi-variant development projects, in Germany.

The PGLF program was a great success. The lectures were very informative, insightful, plus enjoyable. The content was overflowing and I felt extremely well equipped by the end of the week. I was increasing my library with all of the books a week after it! Everything was well put together and very worthwhile. It was a week of creating connections, inspiration, personal and professional growth through shared stories with people from different countries.

See what our alumni had to say about their PGLF experiences:

Rabia Bhatti
United Kingdom
UK’s youngest ever muslim female politician, in 2011 became the youngest Muslim female councillor in Britain
“Both the delivery and content of the course was of an exceptional standard with the highest-calibre of speakers and lectures delivered over the duration of the week. I would highly recommend PGLF to anyone interested in becoming a leader in their chosen field or entering politics.”

“The best global leadership program I have ever attended. As a scientist, effective and meaningful communication is vital in my profession. Preparing Global Leaders Summit provided me the skills, knowledge and most importantly, confidence to stand out, focus and excel towards my career goals and aspirations. Thank you, PGLF!”

“PGLS is a 10 out of 10! Doctor Potolicchio’s leadership classes were phenomenal and my public speaking skills dramatically improved. The participants were smart, ambitious, came from across the world, and are some of my best friends today. PGLS was a life changing experience! If you are lucky enough to be accepted, go to PGLS!!”

Layane El Hor
Lebanon
Fulbright Scholar – Yale University; MA Candidate, International and Development Economics
“Leadership today is very different from what it used to be years ago. It’s more than ever about young people, instantaneous public exposure, inter-disciplinary knowledge, and cross-border connections. It is very rare, however, for an aspiring leader to find these at one place. I gained lifelong friends that share a will for change, a global vision, and the required skills to advance it!”

Zola Valashiya
South Africa
Mandela Rhodes Scholar (2015) and Founding Director Debate.Afrika
“It is difficult to find an education that puts an equal emphasis on leadership development skills as it does on theoretical knowledge. Traditional pedagogy is no longer adequate as the sole-fountain of scholarship and praxis. PGLF has created a unique environment that bolsters intellectual dexterity and at the same time facilitates causal cross-cultural interactions.”

Serafin Lion Engel

Co-Founder & CEO, Shoutbox GmbH; Co-Founder & Chairman, R7 Investment Association
“Being part of PGLS was definitely a transformational experience. It offers an immensely broad array of learning fields, taught by an all-star line-up of professors, but what I believe to be truly unique about this summit is that it is an event for everyone. No matter what you study, no matter where you come from, and no matter what your religious, political, or ideological preconceptions are, you will be welcomed to the community and you will be challenged to learn not only about politics, and leadership, but about life. I myself am a business student, and looking back to the summit I can state with certainty that it was a key event in my education career.”

David J Townsend
Australia
President, Oxford University Student Union (2012-2013), PhD student, University of Oxford
“The PGLS programme is a great combination of communication training and insights into psychology and international development. Sam Potolicchio is a dynamo of leadership himself, and his lectures on public communication are enthralling, interactive and innovative. What I really appreciated was that underneath this was a genuine concern to educate the young leaders of the 21st Century, and his vision of communication isn’t about learning ‘tricks’ to get people to follow you, it’s about learning how to bring people closer together and how to help us all move forward together in society. I had a great time at PGLS – such a wide range of countries and careers were represented amongst the participants! Moscow was the perfect setting for us to get to know each other!”
